SLEEPY HOLLOW                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     October 5 – 26, 2019

Adapted by L. ROBERT WESTEEN from the story by WASHINGTON IRVING

It’s the day before All Hallows Eve and the inhabitants of the Knickerbocker household have gathered together to hear the annual telling of the story of the ill-fated Ichabod Crane and the Headless Horseman. This exciting and inventive adaptation has some tricks, and is a treat for all ages. **This production contains a few moments that might be frightening for very young children.

A SEUSSIFIED CHRISTMAS CAROL                                                                                                                                                                                                  December 7 – 21, 2019

By Peter Bloedel

A whimsical reinvention of Dickens' most beloved Christmas story in wacky rhymed couplets. With zoot fruited juices, and binka bird geese, from Bed-Headed Fred, to Timmy Loo Hoo, this tale of glorious holiday cheer is similar to something Dr. Seuss might have come up with, if he ever had his way with the story.

THE LITTLE MERMAID                                                                                                                                                                                                           January 25 – February 15, 2020

Based on the beloved tale by Hans Christian Andersen, the story of the little mermaid, Pearl, is brought to life for the stage in this coming of age tale of family, friendship, sacrifice, and finding true love. Will Pearl risk all that she holds dear for a chance at love with the prince whom she adores? This adaptation has been a Company OnStage audience favorite for decades.

PINOCCHIO COMMEDIA                                                                                                                                                                                                                  March 14 – Apr. 4, 2020

Adapted by JOHNNY SIMONS

The charming tale of the wooden puppet Pinocchio, who dreams of becoming a real boy, is brought to life in true Italian, commedia dell’arte fashion. Our story begins with a troupe of strolling commedia players exploding into the theatre with their noisy props and crude scenery; Arlecchino, Pantalone, Razullo, Beltrama, Pulcinella, Pedrolina, and Columbina. All the familiar characters of Carlo Collodi’s story are portrayed in flamboyant and colorful fashion providing entertainment for adults as well as children.

EXCALIBUR                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        May 2 – 23, 2020

The grandeur of ancient British and Welsh legend and lore brought to life through the eyes of the fabled master of Wizardry and Wit, the Magical and Mysterious Merlin the Enchanter, who re-creates the exciting and dramatic story of how young Arthur came to be one of the most celebrated Kings of legend.

TREASURE ISLAND                                                                                                                                                                                                                 June 20 – July 12, 2020

Adapted by TOBY HULSE

The story of Long John Silver and his pirate crew spill from the spirited imagination of a young girl. Emily dreams of being a pirate, although wanting to be a businesswoman would be more sensible. Her dream comes to life in this version of Stevenson’s classic tale, where she is Jim Hawkins in the story of wicked pirates, good old English pluck and buried treasure.
